Mmmmm, sore.. Must do this again some day.
(Probably mon-wed-fri for the next few months. ;P)
When I start to get enough endurance to do the aerobics for an extended period of time, I'm going to go get advice(Perhaps from Laurel, if I ask nicely? :P) on weight machines or excersizes to target my abs/love handles/etc.
And I need to remember to look up how the hell you do the kick for the side stroke.. I swear, I never thought I'd forget how to swim, given that I was a water baby for the first 12 years of my life. Oh well, maybe I'll change up in the winter and take up ice skating again. Kinda odd that the only sports/workouts I like are so mindless, just circles or laps. That, or martial arts.. but I'm not ready for that kind of a regimen yet.(Or that kind of cost, ow.) |

What is it with me and silly bands?
First, there was F r e squared z e p o p. If you want any clue how silly that band is, watch the videos for Freezepop Forever and Tender Lies.
Then, I discovered Tenacious D. There's just something fun about rock comedy. ;P I haven't picked up their album yet, but Wonder Boy and Tribute both make me grin.
And now, Gorillaz.. Which, apparently, is less of a band and more of an animated performance art piece. I thought at first that the animated characters were just charicatures of the band members.. but it's primarily the brain child of two people, one of which I think does the visual design, and not much of the music, and the other person does most of the writing.. with a third(Interchangeable?) producer, and some 'guest stars'. Silly music, sillier videos.
And I've posted more this week than quite a while before..
bleh, I want my replacement hard drive damnit. ;P |

Hung out with korondesu and his girl yesterday, played some munchkin, mostly upgraded her computer, got paid in booze and food, and took some pictures of the car..
( *Shutter sound* )
Also, I'm rather annoyed at people for suggesting that tonight would be a meeting, rather than a game.. and then letting myself decide to stick around for an extra hour and a half doing nothing... blah. Shoulda stuck to my original plan: Pitch a new character concept to johnny and run home to write it up and relax.

So I just put a deposit on a black 2005 Spec-V w/ everything(Except brembos.. with this much snow, ABS is more important than bright red calipers.)
I probably should have waited, but w/ 1% financing, and $1500 in rebates I really had trouble even thinking 'no'. ;P
I revved my altima pretty hard on the way home, I'll miss driving it often, but the spec-v should be even nicer.. ;P |

I just have to do it. I received a new cd this week, Mercury, from Universal Hall Pass. It rocks. Few things have sounded better to me in a wihle than 5 Melissa Kaplan's singing at the same time.. in round.
So, I shall guide you all here to spread the word. For those who I've shoved music at before.. This is the singer from Splashdown doing a 'solo' project. There are 3 full length songs for download on the website, two from the CD.. And I'm willing to share the love if you catch me on ICQ.
